WOMAN GUILTY IN TAXI MURDER

As you might not know this happened outside of my house.

A Walnut Hills woman was convicted Thursday in the robbery and killing of cab driver Timothy Deger last year. Mary Rosemond, 24, faces 33 years to life in prison when she returns to Hamilton County Common Pleas Court for sentencing July 7 before Judge Charles Kubicki. A jury convicted her of aggravated murder and robbery. Rosemond is one of three people charged in Deger's death. The Colerain Township man was shot and killed July 19. The 42-year-old husband and father had been driving a cab for just four months. Prosecutors say Rosemond got into the cab with her brother, George Williams, 20; and her cousin, Andre Woodcock, 19. They say the three planned to rob Deger and Williams fired the fatal shot. Williams faces a possible death sentence if he is convicted, while Woodcock is awaiting trial on the same charges as Rosemond.

Good one down and two to go. These people are the scum of the earth. This Timothy Deger guy was doing his job when these three assw clowns shot and killed him. As they ran off they laughed! What kind of person would do this? And then you got the ass clown that pulled the trigger crying that he is not being treated good on jail!! What a shit head. Below is the story on him. I will be keeping up on this as new information comes out.

Murder suspect wants jail rules eased

Jail doesn't agree with George Williams.

The Price Hill man, who is accused of killing a cab driver last year, told a judge Tuesday he is being treated too harshly at the Hamilton County Justice Center. He wants more time out of his cell, less time in shackles and more interaction with other inmates.

Prosecutors say jailers have good reason to be strict: In nine months, Williams has racked up 32 disciplinary violations and is considered one of the worst inmates in the building.

His offenses include exposing himself to nurses, threatening guards, disabling the lock on his cell door, drinking Windex, freeing himself from shackles and hiding a razor and a mask made of toilet paper in his cell.

"He does just about anything you can think of to create havoc," said sheriff's spokesman Steve Barnett.

Williams, though, says he's being treated unfairly. His lawyers say he is distracted by the restrictions, which include spending 23 hours a day in his cell, and has been unable to help them defend his case.

"It really has affected our ability to represent him," said Perry Ancona, one of his lawyers. "He is not a danger."

Assistant Prosecutor Seth Tieger said the disciplinary reports suggest otherwise.

"These are a series of aggressive acts," Tieger said. "If these guys (sheriff's deputies) were to turn their heads for a minute, there could be another murder."

Williams, 20, faces the death penalty if he is convicted on charges of shooting to death cab driver Timothy Deger, 42. Two others are charged as accomplices in the killing, which occurred in Green Township last July.

Williams has complained that neither of the other two co-defendants is under the same restrictions in jail. He is handcuffed or shackled often, including when he takes showers, and is kept away from other inmates.

Barnett said that's because Williams is a proven security risk.

"Apparently, Mr. Williams can't comply with the rules of society or the rules of the Hamilton County Justice Center," Barnett said.

Common Pleas Judge Robert Winkler denied Williams' request for more privileges.

What a Joke I'm done ranting for now...

Man Suing Casino Over Losses

A southern Kentucky man who says he's lost at least 500-thousand dollars at an Indiana casino wants a court to prevent the casino from getting any more of his money.

Jimmy Vance of Corbin has filed a counter-lawsuit against Caesars Indiana saying that he was drunk when he gambled away 75-thousand dollars after casino employees persuaded him to take several credit advances.

The countersuit comes after the casino sued Vance last October for failing to repay the 75-thousand dollars.Vance tells The Louisville Courier-Journal that he doesn't remember losing the money and was totally intoxicated at the time.

Caesars is asking for much more than the 75-thousand dollars, and says Vance isn't the first unsuccessful gambler to want his money back.
